The web has been assaulted by a storm of advertisement on the web.Unfortunately,most of it seems to come from the pornography business since the majority of sites on the web have to do with sex.However,there are several annoying people on the web that can become a problem in the future.Also, I argue that the porno business will set a precedence for everyone else who comes on the web. In other words, if the porn industry can do business like this,then why don't we?It started out harmlessly enough.The feature known asanchors was the first such feature for the purpose of advertising.You could endorse someone's site on the top and/or bottom of your site.However, the downfall with this is when people find out the ads are no good they never click on them again.This brought on what we known as spam mail.This is more widely known as telemarketing in the real world.Some site managers actually sell addresses to telemarketers.Needless to say lots of people disapproved and it suddenly became popular not to do this.Otherwise, one would have to report the agencies they're being harassed by.As if that weren't enough, when people decided they got the most out of spamming people,they invented the thing called the cookie.This cookie basically annoys you until you either give it an address or you get off the site.No matter what you should never give your address to a cookie.Finnally, the last indignity I have to tell for now is those disgusting no good pop up windows.I hate these the most.They're a mini screen full of stuff you don't want to see,and it usually pops up at the time when you don't want it to.It takes a lot of time to close them down.I resent all these methods except the anchors.

The dangers of pornography on the web.

The pornography industry has been a major source of contention in congress.The porn industry has been making congress consider crazy bills such as a clipper chip for our computers and a V chip for our tv sets.All of it is totally unnecessary. And when you think about the software out there that can screen out porn from your computer,I don't see how the government thinks it has any business interefering with democracy.However, that's not to say they don't deserve our criticism.If the porn would do a better job of keeping kids from seeing their sites,I think people would respect them more.

However, if you surf this web enough,than you will get into trouble sooner or later.Even so, there are some things you can do to get rid of unwanted visitors:If someone takes your money from you without your consent,then there are some things you may do.

  1. Don't ever give a credit card number out for age verification
  2. if you did,then always change your card and bank account number
  3. contact the agency by phone before the end of the month.
Also, if you have a problem with a porn company,then here's what you can do about them:

  2. attempt to block them by filtering their letters to the trash bin.
  3. complain to your isp and have them filter their letters out.
  4. finnally, goto the state's attornery generals site and complain. 



The problem with the porn industry today is that they think
that they own the web.Company's like Moejo's go about advertising
where their not wanted.For instance,Lycos is an perfect example.
Almost a fourth of hits for Indiana were always porn people.
 Also, companies such as youngnkinky actually answered your ads.
But it's not just where they do business but how they do business.
Companies like kelly's playground have unethical ways of doing
 business.

There are several more problems in the web besides mere
advertising.There is a matter of standards.Mircosoft has stock
in realplayer and Apple has Applequicktime for windows.Also,one
has a choice in weither to take shockwave or not from the company
known as macromedia.A lot of literature is available on this
